Honeywell Gas
Looking for an environmental friendly refrigerants gas that can fulfill both your commercial and industrial needs? In that scenario, you don’t have to be concerned since we have got you covered.
Commercial, alternative, intermediate, and long-term refrigerants are all available from Honeywell. They meet to outperform older refrigerants in terms of performance. They have a lower environmental impact and are safe, efficient, and cost-effective to use.
Furthermore, Honeywell is at the cutting edge of fluorocarbon refrigerant technology. Their refrigerant solutions outperform the competition, are easy to install, safe to use, and are beneficial for the planet.
Honeywell is a publicly listed American global firm with headquarters in Charlotte, North Carolina.
This article is all about the various sorts of refrigerants gases, but while we’re in that, let’s define refrigerants.
Refrigerants:
Refrigerants are chemicals that can vaporize to dissipate heat from either a body or a process fluid. Or in other words one might say a refrigerant is a working fluid that is utilized in the refrigeration system of air conditioning units and heat pumps, where it transforms from a liquid to a gas and back again. Due to their toxic effects, ignitability, and contributions of CFC and HCFC refrigerants to depletion of the ozone layer and HFC refrigerants to changes in climate, refrigerants are extensively regulated.
Let us now look at the many types of refrigerants gases manufactured by the Honeywell.
1 Honeywell Gas Genetron R-134:
Are you looking for a refrigerant that can provide effective cooling in a number of applications? If that’s the case, we would suggest looking into Genetron R134. It goes by quite a number of names such as the Freon 134a, Dymel 134a, norflurane and many others.
Moreover, 1, 1, 1, 2- Tetrafluoroethane is a hydrofluorocarbon and haloalkane refrigerant that has comparable kinetic parameters to R-12 but has a low tendency for ozone destruction. At surface pressure, it has a boiling point of -26 degrees Centigrade and the formula CF3CH2F.
Furthermore, The R134a tanks are bluish in hue. A phase-out and substitution with HFO-1234yf as well as other chlorofluorocarbons, with global warming potentials comparable to CO2. It is a non-flammable gas that is generally utilized as a high-temperature refrigerant for home and car air conditioners. It all started in the automotive industry in 2012.

- • Technology that is well-know and well-established
- • Non-combustible
- • Toxic-free
- • Potential for lower emissions of direct refrigerants
[/joomdev-wpc-pros][joomdev-wpc-cons]
- • Direct greenhouse effect is high
- • Recycling is expensive
- • Cost of improving the design to reduce leakage
- • Heat pump performance is limited

2 Honeywell Genetron R-410a:
Do you ever feel compelled to purchase energy-saving equipment? Honeywell created the Genetron 410a (an azeotropic blend of HFC-32 and HFC-125) as a protracted, non-ozone-depleting, energy-efficient successor for Genetron 22 in a variety of contemporary equipment purposes.
For instance, in recently built chillers, particularly positive displacement chillers, Genetron R- 410a is an effective refrigerant. In tests, it was found to be 5-6 percent more energy efficient than the R-22. It also has a larger capacity and pressure than R-22, allowing smaller, more compact air conditioning equipment to be designed.
Therefore, it can be implemented in new low- degree commercial cooling system as a replacement for R-22.
R-410a is classified as safety group A1 according to ASHRAE standard 34. At 1 atm and 18 degrees Celsius, it is non-flammable. If a substantial amount of R- 410a vapor is released, the vicinity should be vacated right away. Near the floor, vapor may condense, replacing available oxygen. After the space has been cleared, the air must be circulated at floor level using blowing air.

- • R-410a is regarded as environmentally friendly
- • At the moment, it’s possible to buy it for a price that’s comparable to R-22
- • When handled by professionally qualified experts, R-410a is relatively safe to keep
[/joomdev-wpc-pros][joomdev-wpc-cons]
- • When compared to R-22, it is used at a substantially greater operating pressure
- • It can’t be recycled because it’s a mix of refrigerants
- • This necessitates the use of tubing with a thicker wall

3 Honeywell Genetron R-404A:
Wondering what could be a better refrigerant substitute than your previous one? Well, I must say that R-404A is something you should go for. ASHRAE has allocated the refrigerant number R-404a to a refrigerant mix consisting of HFC-125, HFC-143a, and HFC-134a. It’s a long-term non-depleting replacement to R-502 that’s ideal for low to moderate refrigeration.
For instance, the R-404a refrigerant is one of the most widely used in the world. It’s in most commercial refrigerators, vending and ice machines, and certain types of industrial applications. Although, it might phase out due to its high Global warming potential.
Furthermore, it comes in cylinders that are orange in color. It’s a colorless vapor and liquid with a slight ethereal odor.

- • Permitted the globe to abandon the use of ozone-depleting refrigerants
- • Non toxic
- • Non-combustible
[/joomdev-wpc-pros][joomdev-wpc-cons]
- • It has a very high potential for global warming
- • Is not the most effective in some applications

4 Honeywell Genetron R-22:
This product is being phased out over the world since it is an HCFC. R-22 is an out-of-date standard that is being phased out. It has a 1.3 ozone depletion rate, which is quite high. The ozone depletion rate is a number scale that indicates how quickly or readily chlorine atoms from the refrigerant can be broken apart and go up into the atmosphere, where they link with O2 to form O3, resulting in ozone depletion.
Moreover, Performax LT, R-07C, and R-507 have taken its place.
These were run at a higher system pressure but with a smaller compressor displacement. Residential, commercial, and industrial applications are all popular.
