Installation Instructions

  1. Cut and Clean: Ensure the ends of the pipes to be joined are cut squarely and free of burrs. Clean the pipe ends and the inside of the coupling with a PVC cleaner or primer.
  2. Apply Solvent Cement: Apply a thin layer of PVC solvent cement to the outside of the pipe ends and the inside of the coupling sockets.
  3. Join Pipes: Quickly insert the pipe ends into the coupling sockets while rotating slightly to spread the cement evenly.
  4. Hold in Place: Hold the pipes in place for a few seconds to allow the cement to set.
  5. Cure Time: Allow the joint to cure for the time specified by the cement manufacturer before applying pressure or use.
