Heating elements – Vulcanic

Vulcanic’s sheathed heating elements are designed to heat solids, liquids, or gases using the Joule effect, reaching up to 800°C. They consist of a metallic tube with a resistive wire coil insulated by magnesium oxide for efficient heat transfer. The sheath, available in various materials like stainless steel or Incoloy®, ensures durability and compatibility with different media. These elements are commonly used in immersion heaters for water heating, offering customizable shapes and connection options. Their robust design provides resistance to shock and vibration, making them suitable for various industrial applications.

  • WP+: Waterproof resin sealing, ideal for moist conditions, with a maximum connection temperature of 160°C.
  • TM: Silicone sealing suitable for environments up to 350°C without moisture.
  • HT: Cement high-temperature sealing for applications up to 450°C in dry atmospheres.
