Maksal Tubes manufactures premium 1/4″ and 3/8″ seamless copper tubes,
specifically designed for air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
These tubes are produced from C12200 copper,
ensuring a minimum copper content of 99.9%,
which provides superior thermal conductivity and corrosion resistance.
The soft-annealed temper enhances flexibility, facilitating easy installation
and bending without compromising structural integrity. Maksal’s copper
tubes meet the ASTM B280 standards for cleanliness,
with bore quality adhering to the 0.038 g/m² specification.
Standard dimensions include an outer diameter of 6.35mm (1/4″)
with a wall thickness of 0.76mm, and an outer diameter of 9.53mm (3/8″)
with a wall thickness of 0.81mm, both typically supplied in 50-foot (15.24-meter) coils.
The tubes are end-capped and shrink-wrapped to ensure they remain
